Welcome to the Briefed App! Here's a step-by-step guide on how to use our platform:

1. Register for an account on the Briefed App. After registration, your account will remain unverified until the admin verifies your legal qualification within 48 hours.
2. After sign up, you may log in to create orders and engage other lawyers for a fixed and appropriate price putting into consideration expenses and remuneration for work done. The least order fee is N5,000. If you are not sure what price to set for an order, you may use NBA's proposed scale of charges as a guide.
3. However, you cannot perform any tasks to earn money until your account is verified.
4. When you log in, you can create an order and all relevant lawyers, in the jurisdiction where the order is to be performed, will be alerted. You can find the order under the 'Pending or Active Orders' section of your dashboard.
5. Under each order details, you will see all interested lawyers. You will then proceed to pay using a debit card before assigning the order to a lawyer. DO NOT MAKE PAYMENT UNLESS SOMONE HAS SHOWN INTEREST IN YOUR ORDER The paid sum will be added to your Active Balance and cannot be withdrawn to protect the interest of the lawyer to whom the work is assigned.
6. Verified users in the relevant jurisdiction can find the order under their 'Available Tasks' section of their dashboard. Lawyers can notify interest in the order, and the order creator can choose any one of the interested lawyers.
7. After the order is assigned to a lawyer, it will automatically move to the 'Pending Task' section of the assignee's dashboard. The lawyer is to carry out the task diligently and can ask for information from the order creator using the dashboard.
8. Users are not allowed to take conversations outside of the Briefed platform and should not share phone numbers or other contact information. Any user who flouts this directive will be banned from the platform.
9. Both parties can communicate via the 'Track Updates' and even share documents.
10. Once the task is completed, the performer is to mark the task as completed, and the creator will be alerted to verify and approve payment.
11. Thereafter, the payment will be approved, the order fee will be deducted from the order creator's 'Active balance' and 85% of the order fee will be added to the 'Ripe Balance' of the task performer, while Briefed App takes 15% as a commission.
12. Any withdrawal by the task performer from the Ripe Balance can only be granted 24 hours after the creator approves completion of the order.
