Briefed, is going to contact other professionals registered on our platform for the purpose of facilitating and completing your order(s).
This is a simple contract for service between you and who is making the order and the person accepting the order. Briefed is neither the employer nor the employee and does not accept to be bound by the employment obligations of parties to this contract.
Parties to this employment contract (the employer and employee) hereby accept to be liable under the terms of this contract and under the labour and employment laws applicable in Nigeria. In case of any breach of the express terms or essential implied terms of the contract, the aggrieved party shall have the right to seek redress in a court of law or approach other appropriate channels of dispute resolution only after a formal complaint has been made to Briefed Limited for resolution and feedback received or after one month of making such formal complaint.
If there is a non-performance by the person receiving the order after all necessary information has been supplied by the party making the order and without a fault of them, the party receiving the order shall be liable to compensate the party making the order twice the value of the supposed payment for the service.
Parties to the contract for service on the platform shall not engage in an unauthorized use of the information and document supplied or exchanged in the course of the employment.
The party making the order hereby warrants that he is directly in a position to undertake the duties subject matter of this service. The party receiving the order undertakes to personally carry out the duty attendant thereto. Briefed does not support employment by third-party.
And if it is otherwise discovered or found that either party is in breach of the relevant Rules of Professional Conduct applicable in their respective jurisdictions, Briefed or the aggrieved party shall have the right to refer the defaulting party to relevant Disciplinary Committee for appropriate actions.
